Fans of the hit Rovio game "Angry Birds" have been teased by the developer on a new game featuring the colorful birds and bad piggies.

After teasers and polls posted on their official Twitter account, Rovio announced what exactly Angry Birds Go is. It seemed that the kart game option won over endless running game, not only on the polls online but also among the Rovio team behind the game.

Kalle Kaivola from Rovio revealed that they had played around with some game ideas, even with the endless running game. And then the team just agreed that the running cart idea would be the best.

"Our friends at Red Bull helped us out with another game concept and right away we all got really excited."

Don't expect a lot of details, but at least now you know where Rovio is driving its next franchise to.

Speaking of "Angry Birds," its "Star Wars 2" franchise seemed to be hitting off with character reveals, as the launch date for the game nears this September 19.

A bunch of characters have already been revealed with trailers to boot. Among the characters is Emperor Palpatine, with the invitation to join the Pork Side!

Of course, there's also Luke Skywalker in his Jedi form (there is also the Luke Skywalker Endor version), telling you, "May the birds be with you."

Han Solo is also making an appearance, hailing with him some kickass shooting, while he also breaks down the piggy fortresses.

Jar Jar Binks isn't one to be left behind--though you have to figure out just what kind of bird he is--and he does a great flinging job in destroying the structures.

Of the 32 expected characters that have already been revealed, five others have been revealed including Jedi Youngling, Luke Skywalker Endor, Droideka, TIE fighter pilot and Zam Wesell.

'Rayman Legends' Trailer Readies Everything But the PS Vita Release

After months of delay, "Rayman Legends" is finally coming on August 30, a few days early from the predicted September delay. But according to Pocket Gamer, this is only true for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and the PC, as PS Vita players will have to wait until September 13 to get a copy.

In the report, a Ubisoft spokesperson had already stated that the delay was due to the final polishing touches for the game, as the PS Vita version will have other touchpad controls, five more bonus maps and two costumes to boot.

"Rayman Legends" continues from "Rayman Origins" and delivers what The Globe and Mail called to be a trippy adventure--the Gloo Gloo gameplay trailer alone should have been a hint.

Still, the additional levels and difficulty level that come with the delay are something to further anticipate, and from the looks of the new launch trailer, you are looking at a lot of colourful scenery, insane graphics and a load of adventure waiting once you press play.

'Lost Planet 3'

Kotaku's review of the game put the main character as an effective everyman, if only to set Jim Peyton apart from the hordes of video game character leads. In essence, he lives an ordinary life, but one that grounds the storyline on a very realistic foundation, despite the fact that it is a sci-fi shooter with monsters everywhere.

For those who are looking for shooting action, this is also present in the game and even highlighted by attachments on the lead character, which refashions what shooter games are like--think mecha meets guns--though it is questionable if it's for the better.

"Lost Planet 3" will be released on August 30 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Here is the launch trailer if you want to see the graphics and a bit of gameplay.
