The updates just keep rolling in for "Grand Theft Auto 5." This time, with Rockstar Games announcing that the official trailer will be launching on August 29.

"The Official Trailer for Grand Theft Auto V will debut here at the Rockstar Newswire and on the GTAV site this Thursday, August 29th. Details on exact timing forthcoming," said the official statement from Rockstar Games.

This was something to look forward to as the most recent mis-tweet has gotten fans excited about "GTA 5" finding its way to the PS4, when in fact, it was a typo made by Sony UK.

VG 24/7 reported that the previous tweet which was a response to a fan message had misled a couple of gamers, with some even thinking that it was a leak for a previously un-announced version of the game for the PS4.

"GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4! What other games are you looking forward to playing, Norman?" was the tweet that has now been confirmed as a mistake.

Rockstar Games has not made any announcements of next-gen plans for the game, so if there are any, expect them to come well into 2014. GTA 5 will be debuting on current-gen consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.

'Halo: Spartan Assault' Expansion Gives New Mission and Support

The successful Windows 8 game "Halo: Spartan Assault" is receiving DLC come August 29, and it will be bringing a handful of add-ons.

Titled "Operation Hydra," the DLC was reported to haul in five new missions and new achievements for the game. GameSpot reported that the expansion will also provide support for the Xbox 360 controllers, so you can now control Spartan-IV soldiers on tablets and PCs via the Xbox 360 accessory.

If you have a Windows 8 phone, you can also access the 512 MB version of the game, regardless of which carrier you are with. Expect a demo at no cost to roll out on August 30.

It is one just one of the "Halo" franchises that Microsoft has set for this year, with the announced "Halo" for Xbox One as well as the previously reported "Halo" TV series spearheaded by Steven Spielberg on the way.

Ouya Gets a Well-Loved Game

For the most part, the main gripe that people had with Ouya is the lack of quality games. While there are a number of games on the Ouya via its Android backing, they are not all quality games due to poor screening and free-for-all development.

This is why Ouya supporters may be happy to know that Telltale Games will be bringing the undead with "The Walking Dead Season 1" and "400 Days" to the console this winter.

According to Engadget, Ouya owners can play the first season for free, just like the other games on the console, but beyond that, there will be a price for continued use.

It is also interesting to note that Telltale Games has also announced that season 2 will also find its way to the console sometime in the future. Hopefully, the first season and the DLC will find some more success in Ouya in the same way that it did for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Ouya is ramping up its gaming platforms, with the first two games on its Free the Games campaign at Kickstarter having seen success. This may be Ouya's way of turning its gaming fortune around, little by little.

For now, here is the teaser trailer of the game on Ouya.
