It is about time that Justin Bieber gets to share some spotlight to the newest boy next door faces in town - One Direction! This boy band straight from the UK is made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne.

With their hit singles topping off various music charts all over the world, it is no wonder why every teenage girl is going gaga over their music and looks. Their charm and catchy tunes also contribute to their sweet success in the industry to date.

One Direction is set to visit Australia by next month and hence there could be no better time but now to know more interesting stuff about these lovely young UK boys.

  • All of them auditioned before for 'The X Factor' as solo artists but it was Nicole Scherzinger who suggested they form a band instead and audition as a band. It was Simon Cowell who even became their mentor but unfortunately, they did not win the contest.
  • Every member of One Direction is under the age of 21.
  • The boys have the biggest following fans in New Zealand and Australia, with tickets for their concert are already sold out.
  • Their hit songs are 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'One Thing' which both garnered millions of views over at YouTube.
  • Their 18-year-old member Harry Styles reportedly dated a 32-year-old TV presenter by the name of Caroline Flack. They broke up though recently too and Styles reportedly stated that he is through with older women.
