“It is important for both my own health and well-being and that of my family to do so immediately,” Nixon said in a statement, emphasizing the need for the urgency of his actions.
Nixon has been under close media scrutiny after the scandalous allegations hurled against her by a teen-age girl, accusing him of having inappropriate sexual relations with her and taking drugs in her presence.
Using damaging video footages and pictures, the teenager had exposed the inappropriate behavior of the veteran agent.
The girl from St. Kilda Football Club had shared damaging nude photos of Nixon, who she emphasized had engaged made physical affair with her. Appearing on "Sixty Minutes" and other media outlets, the teenager has made several allegations against Nixon.
