Two Recent Signs Hint Kate Middleton Could Be Pregnant With Baby Girl
Kate Middleton is due to give birth to her second baby some time mid-to-end of April. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge still don’t know the gender of their second child. However, there were recent signs that hint Kate could be pregnant with a royal baby girl.
While Kate Middleton and Prince William insists on keeping the gender of their second baby a surprise, Mirror UK noted a couple of signs that fuel the incessant speculations of Kate having a girl. The Duchess of Cambridge was reportedly seen shopping for pink baby clothes this week. Additionally, according to the site “the arrival of some traditionally feminine paint samples at the couple's home” in Anmer Hall has also led to further rumours that the royal couple is expecting a baby girl.
Meanwhile, bookies have placed higher bets on a girl’s name for the couple’s second baby, with Alice said to be the likely name. OK! magazine also noted the colour of the dress coat Kate Middleton wore during her last public appearance before heading off to maternity leave. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pink Mulberry coat during her visit to Stephen Lawrence Centre with Prince William. According to the publication, Kate was already giving a hint to the gender of her second child with her wardrobe.
Queen Elizabeth is reportedly not against having a granddaughter this time. According to Hollywood Life, sources have told Life & Style magazine that the queen is also excited for the second baby’s birth and “loves the idea of Kate and William having a boy and a girl.”
There have been reports that the Duchess of Cambridge will give birth on April 25 although the palace has yet to confirm this. However, Kate Middleton is expected to deliver her second baby at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. According to Mirror UK, as approved by Queen Elizabeth, the birth of the royal couple’s second child will be marked with a commemorative release of a new £5 coin. Much like when Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, the Royal Mint also produced 10,000 solid silver crown-sized £5 coins.
