UFC: Chris Weidman Is 'Respectfully' Certain That Third Match With Anderson Silva Will Be An 'Easy Payday'
UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman is slowly learning to make headlines outside of the octagon, claiming that a third encounter with Anderson Silva will "respectfully" be an "easy payday."
The "All-American" defeated the "Spide" twice in a span of less than six months in 2013, knocking the latter out cold in the first meeting, while breaking a leg, Silva's leg, that is, literally during their second encounter.
As dominating as he may be in his division at the moment, he still welcomes the possibility of meeting the Brazilian again.
"Anderson Silva a third time? If that's what people want to see then it will happen," he told foxsports.com.
"Easy payday? Yeah pretty much, with all due respect."

The Baldwin, New York native has beaten the likes of Demian Maia, Mark Munoz, and recently, Lyoto Machida, among others, in the last three years, believing that there isn't any much of a legitimate contender as of yet.
"With all due respect to the division, no one is beating me at 185. Sorry," he said.
"I think everybody is talented. I think everyone has a threat, but none of them are beating me."
Weidman will defend his belt against former champion Vitor Belfort in February, aiming to take control of the proceedings as early as now.
"He just took a test the other day and I'm hoping he passes. That's the first thought," he added.
"The second thought is February 28 and I'm going to completely dominate him."
As for his long-term objective, Weidman sees himself moving up the ladder, but without leaving any stone unturned in his current weight class.
"I have a lot of great guys I have to face before that's [moving up to 205] going to happen, but eventually I do see that happening," he intimated.
