An anonymous Virginia resident witnessed the unidentified flying object floating above sky while conducting a video recording at around 4 p.m. on January 27, 2013. The footage served as evidence on the puzzling UFO sighting which was recorded at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The file report can be viewed on MUFON's web site MUFON.com where numerous UFO activities are recorded. The report reads: "January 27, 2013, 4 p.m., Charlottesville, Charlottesville County, VA - Moved up Fast From behind house, In 1:10 seconds of video that I taped. Case 45480."

The witness briefly explained what happened on the day the UFO was spotted and videotaped. The statement reads: "Jan 27th 2013 Sun around 4PM, I was taking pictures of the Sky then I Saw moving up from behind house across the street and spining lift to right a Silver UFO as I turned the Cam to Video I taped 1:10 seconds befor the UFO Vanshied from view."

Currently, Virginia has the UFO ALERT 5 rating with a low number of UFO sightings nationally where 5 reports of UFO sightings accounted for last December 2012. Virginia is the 28th highest reporting state with UFO activity while California has the most record of UFO sightings with already 75 reports.

It has not yet been confirmed if Virginia MUFON State Director Susan Swiatek will personally investigate and solve the mystery on the unidentified flying object. Experts suggest that people should be careful in interpreting the UFO on the video as something natural or man-make like a debris or an advanced aircraft.

Furthermore, the experts believe there are several objects that cannot be identified if proper investigation has not been conducted. Meanwhile, the YouTube viewers who watched the UFO sighting footage in Virginia still shared their opinion that the object caught on camera is only a balloon.
