To celebrate Michael Jackson’s 53rd birthday, his sister LaToya Jackson has shared a photo of the King of Pop’s last birthday dinner with her in 2004.

“On MJ's 53rd birthday I'd like to share a personal photo of MJ's last birthday dinner with my family on August 30, 2004,” LaToya tweeted.

A close look of the photo shows that the “Thriller” hitmaker was surrounded by 13 family and friends as they celebrated his birthday in a family dinner seven years ago.

Michael, wearing a glaring red top, his eyes covered with dark glasses, is seen putting his arms around his mother, Katherine, resting on the Jackson matriarch’s right shoulder.

LaToya also took to Twitter to convey her and the family’s gratitude to the fans and their unwavering support and devotion to Michael Jackson.

She tweeted: "I can't thank everyone enough for their remembrance and kind thought for Michael. Thank you!!!! And thank you for keeping the King alive!"

Monday would have been Michael Jackson’s 53rd birthday and his family commemorated the occasion by visiting his childhood home in Indiana. Katherine Jackson led the family, taking with her MJ’s three children.

Meanwhile, a concert tribute is now set for October to honor Michael and his contributions to music.
