"Twilight" is certainly a thing of the past, and all thanks to Richelle Mead's novel, a new kind of heroine has been introduced. Say hello to Rose Hathaway of "Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters." Played by Deutch, Hathaway is a half-human, half-vampire trained and sworn by blood to protect Moroi princess and best friend, Lissa Dragomir. Rose is unlike any other protagonist, and Zoey is quite the fan of the character.
"I love this story and Rose and every aspect of it just as much as any die-hard fan," said Deutch, adding, "I'm stoked for people to see how we've remained loyal to the book but also injected some of our own colors into it."
The anticipated film adaptation of "Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters" is set to hit theatres by February 14, 2014. Even so, the trailer has already been released as early as now, making fans hungry for more action.
