The "Vampire Academy" is set to hit theatres by February of next year and almost all the fans are blood thirsty for the action. Aside from the heart racing scenes and hilarious teenage sarcasm involved, tehre's genuine friendship and bonds formed in and out of the film. In fact, the films' lead stars, Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry are not only BFFs for the film but in real life.

First impressions always last and for Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry it certainly created a lasting bond. Like other co-stars who've bonded for their films, Zoey and Lucy experienced the same connection on their first meet. In an interview with MTV News, the "Blood Sisters" share how they "instantly fell in love" with each other on set.

"I said, 'Hi, I'm Zoey.' And she said, 'Hi, I'm Lucy.' And I said, 'Oh, another Australian,' is what I said," recalled Deutch, adding, "But I meant it in an endearing way."

"I instantly fell in love with her," stated Fry, adding, "We went and practiced the scene together in a room before we went in, and it was really good. It kind of helped me to relax because I was super nervous. Zoey was more confident, and I kind of remember going through the lines..."

"I was acting confident. That was the real performance - tricking myself and the other people into thinking I was confident," added Zoey.

Much like their characters on screen, Zoey is quite the confident star while Lucy remains the diplomatic kind. Aside from the action including mean girls and romance, Zoey and Lucy claim they were drawn to the film because of the value of friendship.

"That's one of the messages that I love about this film, is that it's sending such a nice idea to young girls that you should prioritize your best friends before boys," stated Zoey.
