“The Vampire Diaries” star Candice Accola recently shared great news in an adorable way on social media. Accola, 28, has confirmed through an Instagram post that she is expecting her first child with “The Fray” band member Joe King. Candice Accola will return as Caroline Forbes in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 which will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 8, on the CW Network.

Entertainment Tonight (ET) reports that the couple made the Instagram announcement on Monday with King’s two daughters from his previous marriage helping out. “Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly Thank you to our friend @softspiritstrong for coming over and snapping this sweet pic,” Accola posted as a caption to the shared image on her Instagram account craccola.

News has confirmed that TVD cast members Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley attended the wedding ceremony of Accola and King in the fall of 2014 in New Orleans

The report from E! News further added that it is Accola’s first marriage and child but it is already King’s second marriage and the new baby will be the third addition to his family. Meanwhile, ET claims they have reached out the representatives of the CW TV series to find out the plans for Accola’s role in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7.

Accola portrays vampire character Caroline Forbes, Stefan Salvatore’s new love interest in “The Vampire Diaries.” At the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, “The Vampire Diaries” cast members and series creators teased that Caroline Forbes and Stefan Salvatore, played by Paul Wesley, will have a lot of unexpected story twists in the upcoming new season.

TVD series creator and executive producer Julie Plec assured the fans that the show will still continue after its seventh season. “I actually do not foresee the show ending after next season. We have more story to tell and we have this gorgeous family that’s not ready to split up next season.” Plec told the TVD fans at the 2015 Comic-Con.
