'Vampire Diaries' Season 5: New Cast Member Kendrick Sampson Talks About Character Jesse and Hints on Romance with Caroline Forbes [PHOTOS AND VIDEO]
The upcoming "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is ready to introduce new cast member Kendrick Sampson as character Jesse. TV Fanatic had the chance of having a chat with Mr Sampson where he talked about Jesse and teased the TVD fans with a possible romance with character Caroline Forbes portrayed by actress Candice Accola.
"He's a cool guy, charming. He's kind of amazing, he's fun. He's persistent, he's a fighter. He's very determined to get what he's going after," the actor shared in the video interview. Kendrick Sampson further hinted that Jesse will be pursuing Caroline and his character "does not take no for an answer."
Even though Caroline Forbes is still dating Tyler Lockwood, college life and a new freedom may tempt the blonde beauty to eventually give in with a new love interest. However, the new "Vampire Diaries" cast member claimed as well that his character Jesse has more to offer in the upcoming new season aside from being Caroline's new flame.
"You can expect some secrets," Kendrick Sampson teased. However, the reason behind why Jesse came to Mystic Falls and what is he after remains a mystery. Jesse will join the other "Vampire Diaries" characters in revealing the exciting events that will happen in its brand new season like Damon and Elena's new romantic relationship, Matt returning to Mystic Falls as a changed man, Bonnie's death will be revealed and Silas pretending to be Stefan Salvatore.
The Examiner.com report on evil character Silas reads: "As for Silas, he hasn't spent all summer trying to be Stefan. He has focused on gaining his strength back, and once he is at full strength he will show off his power of mind control. This scene will 'shock and terrify' fans and it was teased briefly during a preview shared at Comic Con 2013 back in July."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 promises the viewers a new path and mythology as well as old and new faces returning to the small screen when the CW TV drama series returns on Thursday, October 3, at 8/7c on the CW network.
