'Vampire Diaries' Season 5: Sneak Peek Videos of Episode 3 'Original Sin' Released, Shows Elena's Connection with Stefan [PHOTOS, SPOILERS]
Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) was able to set himself free, but no one really knows where exactly he is, so Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) continue to find him. Sneak peek videos for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 Episode 3 titled "Original Sin" have been released showing a very hungry Stefan and Elena's connection with her ex-boyfriend through her dreams.
The CW video teases the fans with Elena suddenly waking up from her Stefan dream next to new boyfriend Damon Salvatore in bed. "You must have restless sleep syndrome or something. It's like sleeping with a tornado. Come back to sleep," Damon sleepily tells Elena.
Elena reveals to Damon that her dream about Stefan is different this time. "It was more than just a pit in my stomach this time, though. It was real. It was like I was there with him," Elena explains. However, Damon appears to be a little annoyed with Elena having dreams about Stefan that made him comment: "I know I said it didn't bother me that you have some psychic connection to your ex-boyfriend, but I don't need a play-by-play, Elena."
Elena agrees with Damon, apologized and even described her connection with Stefan as "weird." The other "Vampire Diaries" promo video, on the other hand, shows a starving Stefan Salvatore walking into a bar, attacking and draining the blood of the bartender.
In the upcoming third episode, will Elena and Damon finally locate where exactly Stefan is and find out what really happened to him for three months? According to the Hypable report, Katherine will be having a dream about Stefan as well, just like Elena, and they will convince Damon to help them in finding his still missing brother. New characters Tessa and Nadia are expected to make matters worse with Tessa revealing her surprising connection to Stefan.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is currently in full swing with Episode 3 "Original Sin" scheduled to air on Thursday, October 17, at 8 p.m. on the CW network.
