"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 revealed the identity of Katherine Pierce's (Nina Dobrev) long lost daughter Nadia (Olga Fonda). It looks like CW will give "TVD" viewers a look into Nadia's past with the casting of child actress Ashlyn Jade Lopez to portray the young version of the Traveler.

The Wet Paint report suggests that the childhood flashback on the Bulgarian beauty will take place in the 100th episode or Episode 11 titled "500 Years of Solitude," since it will focus on the sassy vampire-turned-human Katherine. The upcoming episode will most likely be filled with story twists and turns as the Petrova doppelganger lies on her deathbed.

Other scenes that "The Vampire Diaries" fans should look forward to in this episode include Damon and Elena dealing with the end of their relationship as well as Bonnie's (Kat Graham) role as the anchor to the other side. Julie Plec, the CW TV series' executive producer, revealed to Alloy Entertainment that familiar "TVD" faces could appear in the 100th episode.

In the Latino Post report, executive producer Caroline Dries teased as well some details regarding Bonnie's fate in the TV series. "Part of her personality now is that she carries this cross. And while she seems to be managing every dead supernatural being passing through her now, those unexpected 'visitors' may 'become an issue for her'," Ms Dries shared.

She further added that Bonnie's romantic relationship with Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R McQueen) will be slammed with some issues too. "No relationship on this show is safe for too long. They're going to hit some speedbumps," the executive producer hinted.

One of the familiar "TVD" faces set to return to Mystic Falls include Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) with TV Line reporting that the Original hybrid could be bringing someone with him during his return. Executive producer Michael Narducci stated, "There are things happening on Vampire Diaries which are pretty huge. Word travels to New Orleans and Klaus - and perhaps even one other of our characters - will be curious about the events that are taking place in Mystic Falls."

The 100th episode of "The Vampire Diaries" titled "500 Years of Solitude" is scheduled to air Jan 23, 2014 at 8 pm EST on the CW Network.
