'Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Spoilers: Damon Does Not Mention Elena to Stefan, Intentional or Not? See the Sneak Peek Video for Episode 4 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'
Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) is currently like a blank paper due to his memory getting wiped out, thanks to Qetsiyah. Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) comes to the rescue in giving his brother a history crash-course but does not mention anything about Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), is he doing it on purpose to keep the former lovers apart?
A sneak peak video for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 Episode 4 titled "For Whom the Bell Tolls" has been released where it shows Elena catching up with Stefan and Damon at the bar and finds out that Damon did not remind Stefan who she is.
"And here I thought catching up on nearly two centuries would be a drag," Elena tells the Salvatore brothers while Stefan declares "Remind me of your name, again?" It appears Damon does not want Stefan to remember the romantic connection that he has with Elena even though she eventually chose Damon in the Season 4 finale.
According to the WetPaint spoiler roundup report, Stefan and Elena will be having a bonding moment where Stefan shows he is still drawn and interested with Elena even though he has no memory about her. An extended TVD promo reveals Stefan and Elena sharing "a romantic walk by the lake."
"You're pretty. You're smart. How do I not remember you?" Stefan tells Elena. The WetPaint report reads: "According to the synopsis, helping Stefan through this confusing time takes Elena on an emotional journey of her own." Is this the trouble for the Damon-Elena romance?
In another TVD Season 5 spoiler report, TVLine claims that Episode 7 or Episode 8 will have one character go through a reversed and accelerated version of Brad Pitt's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Speculations point to Nina Dobrev's other character, Katherine Pierce, since it is still unknown what exactly happens to a very old vampire when transformed into a human being.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 Episode 4 "For Whom the Bell Tolls" airs Thursday night, October 24, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
