The next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 will have Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) enjoying her life in Elena's body (also Nina Dobrev) but the released promo videos tease about the other exciting scenes in Episode 12 titled "The Devil Inside." The promo videos in the Hypable report show Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in a conflict with Nadia (Olga Fonda) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) looking determined to win back Caroline (Candice Accola) now that he is back in Mystic Falls.

In the first video clip, Damon just got back in the Salvatore mansion from burying Katherine's body. However, his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) warns him that they have a problem and Nadia enters the picture.

Nadia wants to get Katherine's body back because she wants to fulfill her mother's dying wish of getting buried close to her loved ones in Bulgaria but Damon refuses. "And nothing gives me greater joy than to deny her dying wish," Damon tells the Traveller.

The second promo video features Tyler and Matt (Zach Roerig) preparing for a party at the Lockwood mansion. As the buddies unload kegs from the truck, their discussion shifted to Tyler's intention of reuniting with the blonde vampire whom he left behind due to his desire of getting back at Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

In CW's official Episode 12 synopsis, it looks like the Caroline-Tyler reunion will not happen due to Caroline's scandalous behavior with Klaus in the woods. A part of the synopsis in the Hollywood Life report reads: "Matt impulsively decides to throw a party, where Caroline makes a stunning confession to Elena (Nina Dobrev), then has to face the consequence of her actions with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Tyler."

Executive producer Julie Plec further teased in the E!Online TV Scoop report that Katherine Pierce will be doing wrong things again in Episode 12 "The Devil Inside" particularly with the Salvatore brothers. "Katherine's so into Stefan right now and so not into Damon right now, and yet Elena was about ready to re-embrace her relationship with Damon and Damon was all ready to win back his girl, so you can only imagine how that's going to go down. Katherine does some of the bitchiest stuff as Elena in the next part of the chapter. It's great. It's Katherine at her most diabolical," Ms Plec shared.

As for the Caroline-Tyler story, the executive producer revealed that Caroline will feel that people are like conspiring to remind her of the naughty thing she did with Klaus and the timing of Tyler's return to Mystic Falls makes things worse. Ms Plec teased: "I think she's going to have a lot of those moments as a character and beat herself up about it and be really hard on herself. Certainly, I can't imagine Tyler will take this well."

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5, Episode 12 "The Devil Inside" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, January 30, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
