The upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 will be introducing two more new faces in Mystic Falls. The CW Network has cast Heather Hemmes to portray Enzo's (Michael Malarkey) love interest Maggie and Chris Brochu as the new gay student in Whitmore College.
The E!Online TV Scoop report teased that the arrival of the two new characters in Mystic Falls will spark the interest of the devoted fans especially with their connection to the other TVD cast members. Viewers will get to know "Grey's Anatomy" and "Hellcats" star Heather Hemmes as the girl that Augustine vampire Enzo fall in-love with in the past.
Ms Hemmes' character Maggie has been mentioned in Episode 9 titled "The Cell" as Enzo recounted to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) the numerous experiments done on him. According to Enzo, Maggie was the lab assistant to Dr Whitmore who performed the horrible tests on him and the other vampires in the 1950s.
"She wasn't part of the torture and experiments. For the longest while, she didn't realize Dr. Whitmore was doing more than just observing my behavior. I didn't have the heart to tell her. I was just so glad of the company. When she finally realized what was going on here, she couldn't bear it. So she said she was sorry and she left," Enzo revealed in the episode, according to E!Online News.
When will the TVD fans finally meet Maggie and find out what happened to her? Heather Hemmes is reportedly set to make an appearance in Episode 19. Meanwhile, Chris Brochu will be portraying the new fun, charming and gay Whitmore college student Luke that forms a close bond with Elena/Katherine (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola).
