The latest "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 spoilers claim that fans can see actress Nina Dobrev portraying a fourth doppelganger in the CW TV series. It looks like seeing Ms Dobrev portraying three different characters on-screen - Elena Gilbert, Katherine Pierce and Amara - is not yet enough.

In the E!Online Spoiler Chat report, the 24-year-old Canadian actress hinted about another Petrova doppelganger in "The Vampire Diaries." Nina teased: "Now they're alluding to a fourth [doppelgänger], although we haven't done anything, so I can't say if that's going to happen for sure."

As for Nina's character Katherine Pierce, things are not really going well for this doppelganger after transforming from a vampire to a human being and finding out about her daughter Nadia (Olga Fonda). An interesting storyline that viewers can expect in Season 5 is Katherine embracing motherhood while dealing with Dr Wes Maxfield's claim that she now has a couple of months to live.

"As Katherine grows weaker, Nadia is fighting to take care of her and have her in her life. You learn [Katherine] wants to have that relationship, but she keeps screwing it up," Nina Dobrev further added in the E!Online report.

Additionally, the entertainment news Web site further revealed that a shocking TVD hookup will happen in Season 5. The clues given about the couple are:

1. Series regulars portray the two characters that will hookup in Season 5.

2. Viewers would not have expected the two characters getting together due to what happened between them in the past.

3. One will provide the much-needed help to the other.

In the Latin Times report, fingers are pointed to Katherine and Stefan (Paul Wesley) as the characters hooking up in Season 5 based on the clues given. Nina and Paul are series regulars and their characters have a complicated love story in the past.

The third clue provided suggests that Katherine will be the one who to help Stefan in dealing with his deep emotional wounds after losing his lady love Elena to brother, Damon, and almost dying during summer. In the mean time, another character hookup considered is the Stefan-Caroline romance since the two friends have been showing some onscreen chemistry in Season 5.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on the CW network.
