Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) had told Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to not bother coming back in Episode 13 "Total Eclipse of the Heart" due to his reckless behaviour and association with Enzo (Michael Malarkey). However, the released promo video and synopsis for upcoming Episode 14 titled "No Exit" reveals that Stefan changed his mind and he wants to find and save his brother.

In the brief promo video, Stefan can be seen looking worried about when he found out that Damon is feeding on vampires. "I have to find him," Stefan declares.

Katherine (Nina Dobrev), who is in Elena's body and so into Stefan right now, offered Stefan her company on his road trip to find and save Damon. She is obviously not interested in saving Damon but she is still looking for opportunities to get close to Stefan and win him back.

A broken car and a hotel seem like Katherine's perfect idea of sabotaging Stefan's plan of rescuing Damon. "I saw a hotel. Do you think we should get a room?" Katherine asks Stefan.

The promo video in the WetPaint report also tease that Katherine is finally getting what she wants: another hook up with Stefan in the hotel room. As for Damon and Enzo, their friendship has been put to the test after Dr Wes Maxfield (Rick Cosnett) injected Damon the serum that made him crave for vampire blood.

The ending scene of the previous episode revealed Damon killing a vampire making Enzo realize that what Dr Maxfield did to Damon might be a problem for their revenge plan. "I'm not gonna feed on you," Damon told Enzo but his former cell mate still tied him up to a chair just to be sure.

The official episode synopsis in the Examiner report reads: "As Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) behavior escalates from destructive to deadly, Stefan (Paul Wesley) begins to regret their last conversation and decides to track Damon down and intervene. For reasons of her own, Elena (Nina Dobrev) volunteers to come along. Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) enlists the Travelers to set a trap that will once again test Damon's friendship with Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey). After a heart-to-heart talk with Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda), Matt (Zach Roerig) enlists Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler's (Michael Trevino) help to protect Elena, leading to a violent confrontation. Later, when Stefan tries to comfort a dejected Caroline, their conversation leads to a horrifying realization."

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 returns with Episode 14 titled "No Exit" scheduled to air on Thursday night, February 27, at 8 pm ET on the CW Network.
