'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 4 Promo Stills Show An Injured Stefan, Synopsis And Promo Stills For Episode 6 Tease Trouble And Rescue Mission

The released photo stills and synopsis tease that trouble is what the Mystic Falls gang will be dealing with in the upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. In episode 4, an unexpected visitor will stun Stefan (Paul Wesley) while episode 4 will have the group of friends joining forces for a rescue mission to protect their supernatural identities.

In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 4 titled "Black Hole Sun," the "Stelena" fans will be pleased to see Stefan and Elena (Nina Dobrev) bonding again. However, the episode's synopsis teases that someone will show up and ruins Stefan and Elena's bonding time.

The released photo stills from the upcoming episode also showed an injured Stefan trying to get back up and a mysterious guy that Stefan and Elena talk to. Click HERE to see photos.

Another TVD character in trouble in the next episode is Matt (Zach Roerig). The episode synopsis teased that Matt will be in a disturbing situation after Tripp (Colin Ferguson) let him on a dark secret.

Meanwhile, the CW Network released the episode synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 6 titled "The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" as well as a couple of photo stills featuring the TVD characters Elena (Nina Dobrev), Caroline (Candice Accola), Stefan and Alaric (Matt Davis). The official episode 6 synopsis in a TV Fanatic report revealed that Caroline, Stefan and Matt team up for a rescue mission. The person that the gang will save is Enzo (Michael Malarkey). Tripp has captured the Augustine vampire and the trio must accomplish their rescue mission before the vampire hunter could find out about their true supernatural identities.

The other details in the episode synopsis teased that Sarah (Gabrielle Walsh) will discover some information regarding her past life. The new character will be breaking into Tripp's office and she will be surprised to find out that Matt is also there conducting an investigation of his own.

Adding to the episode's storyline are Elena's struggle with the consequences of her actions, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) hitting rock bottom following Bonnie's (Kat Graham) death where he will lash out in a destructive way and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) taking matters into his own hands after the Salvatore vampire received some upsetting news.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 returns with episode 4 titled "Black Hole Sun" on Thursday night, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network. Episode 6 titled "The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" is scheduled to air on Nov. 6, 2014.
