'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Stefan To Have A New Profession And Home In New Season Premiere Episode 'I'll Remember'
"The Vampire Diaries" characters Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) can be seen talking over the phone in the released trailer. The latest spoiler reports on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 reveal that there is a reason why Stefan and Elena's conversation about Damon (Ian Somerhalder) was not done in person.
According to a TV Guide report, Stefan Salvatore will not be in close proximity to Mystic Falls when the CW TV series' new season begins. The fans will find out in the premiere episode titled "I'll Remember" where Stefan's new home is.
Additionally, resurrected Original vampire Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) will not be the only one to have a new job in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. The TV Guide spoiler report further revealed that Stefan will have a surprising new profession in his new home but did not divulge what Stefan's new profession is.
Damon and Bonnie's (Kat Graham) death in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 finale will be the main reason why Stefan left Mystic Falls in the upcoming new season. Actor Paul Wesley teased during a TVFanatic interview at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con that his character will disappear, distance himself from everyone else and decide not to have any part with what's going on in Mystic Falls.
The 32-year-old TVD actor further added that people will think Stefan is looking for Damon and Bonnie but the character is just gone from the Mystic Falls scene. "He's doing his thing and he's completely disinterested, he's apathetic, he's given up," Wesley teased.
A Carter Matt report pointed out that there is another storyline for Stefan that fans want to see in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. It is none other than his relationship with Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) because the Stefan-Caroline or "Steroline" fans want to find out if the two characters will remain best friends or they will take their relationship to the next level and be more than just friends.
As for Elena Gilbert, actress Nina Dobrev teased that her character will be devastated that the lover of her life, Damon Salvatore, and her best friend, Bonnie Bennett, are gone. In the teaser trailer, Elena is still having a hard time accepting that Damon is gone but the bad boy vampire appeared in the video gently telling her to move on.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. EST on the CW Network.
