'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Stefan Proposes To 'Elena Williams' In Promo Trailer For Episode 4 Titled 'Black Hole Sun' [WATCH VIDEO]

The CW Network released a promo video for the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 on Thursday, Oct. 16, teasing about time. For Damon (Ian Somerhalder), it is the time to get back to the people he cares about while for Elena (Nina Dobrev), it is the time to move forward in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 4 titled "Black Hole Sun."

The promo video begins with Damon telling Bonnie about his desire to go back not only for Elena (Nina Dobrev) but also for his brother, Stefan (Paul Wesley). In the previous episode, a new character named Kai (Chris Wood) revealed to Bonnie that her magic is the key to getting out of reliving May 10, 1994 over and over again.

Meanwhile, Stefan and Elena will be spending some time together in the upcoming episode as the Salvatore vampire teaches his former flame how to start over in life and create a new identity. "Ready to start over?" Stefan asked before riding his motorbike with Elena.

Then, the next scene showed Stefan declaring that he wants to spend the rest of his life with "Elena Williams" and proposes to her. However, Elena stops Stefan before he could finish his marriage proposal. Watch the brief video trailer below.

According to the episode synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Stefan is desperate in bringing back some normalcy in his life. However, the Salvatore vampire will be stunned when an unexpected visitor shows up.

The synopsis further teased on what the other TVD characters will be up to in the upcoming new episode. Alaric (Matt Davis) will have another awkward moment with Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) before helping Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) get his life back on track and deal with Bonnie's death.

After finding out in the previous episode that he has been training with vampire hunters, Matt (Zach Roerig) will find himself in a disturbing situation when Tripp (Colin Ferguson) reveals a dark secret. "The Vampire Diaries' Season 6, episode 4 titled "Black Hole Sun" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
