Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait Defends Pippa Middleton Gun Scandal
Since the outbreak of the so called Pippa Gun Scandal last April, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton has remained quiet over the issue. However, a close friend of Pippa emerges to share his side of the defence.
Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait was interviewed by Daily Mail last weekend at the Guards Polo Club and told some details that will reveal a shade of truth to the scandal. Many say that it has put the highly deemed royal status of the Middleton clan at risk.
Arthur said that it was his 30th birthday then when he and his brother accompanied Pippa to the train station when their driver showed a paparazzo a fake gun to shoo the intruders away. He expressed his sadness over the matter that everyone became so mean with Pippa even if the younger Middleton has nothing to do with the incident at all.
"It's sad and stupid. It was just a very fun party for my 30th, it wasn't crazy at all. It was just very good fun," Arthur said during the interview.
The said incident caused so much damage to Pippa that it even became a rumour that her relationship with Kate Middleton was tarred as well. There were even roaming news then that Pippa might be sent to the US to keep a low profile and spend time giving her credibility a fresh start.
Recalling The Party Before The Pippa Gun Scandal Incident
Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait is a known Parisian socialite who seemed to have recovered from the memories of his 30th birthday party that became the headline of every newspaper months ago.
Pippa Middleton was one of his guests and dearest friends was seen drinking some champagne and having a good time dancing with people costumed as dwarves. Arthur said that he did not know at all how the pictures from the party got out and that he feels terrible to see Pippa suffer from all these.
The annual party of Arthur has been considered as a regular in the social scenes of Paris. He always holds it in a different theme each year with last year's following Stanley Kubrick's 'Eyes Wide Shut.'
Its usual venue is in the Louis XV office of the Rue Royale but this year's was held in a high end Paris nightclub to accommodate a bigger set of guests.
