Ariana Grande isn't the only Nickelodeon star moving on from "Victorious." Even Avan Jogia is making his own move in the acting biz albeit with a "Twisted" twist. Here's what fans should know about Jogia's latest television series, "Twisted."

Who knew that the former "Victorious" stars would end up in an even more victorious place? Despite the Nickelodeon original series getting cancelled, the stars of "Victorious" aren't letting the depressing days get them down. In fact, two of the lead stars, Ariana Grande and Avan Jogia both have their own shows.

Grande stars in another Nickelodeon show, "Sam & Cat" alongside Jennette McCurdy. The two ventures on making ends meet by taking on a baby-sitting business. "Sam & Cat" falls along the line of two-broke girls but with two younger and perkier versions.

As for Avan Jogia, the actors' latest television series is anything but light and happy. Jogia joins the ABC Family mystery show, "Twisted" as Danny Desai. A short synopsis is as follows: "Danny is a 16-year old with a troubled past who connects with childhood friends and becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead."

"Twisted" is already on its fifth episode with the chemistry between Avan Jogia's and Kylie Bunbury's exploding off screen. Apart from the potential romance, new clues have already been revealed in the latest episode.

"I find out something different about Danny every week, so I definitely have to play him to give the editors lots of room in the editing, but I think having a background in comedy helps you fine-tune just the amount of comic relief required for a character that uses cavalier charm as a defence mechanism, but is also quite understandably in a dark place," reveals Jogia about his character.
