It is almost two years since "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker died in 2013 but his co-star Vin Diesel never misses an opportunity to pay a tribute to him. Diesel made an appearance at "The Jonathan Ross Show" on iTV Friday and broke down while speaking about his best friend Walker.

The 48-year-old actor became emotional on the show and shared a touching anecdote about his friend. He recounted how Walker had advised him to accompany his wife into the delivery room when he was expecting his first child with his Mexican model girlfriend (now wife).

“[He said] ‘But Vin, go into that delivery room, be present and cut that umbilical cord and it will be the best day of your life.’ And so I did that and it was the best day of my life,” the actor said. Diesel welcomed his daughter Hania Riley in 2008.

Diesel was in the same situation six months ago and remembered Walker's advice. He also recounted that while signing the name of his child in the hospital register; he wrote “Paul” and then just added I-N-E to it. Diesel and his wife Paloma Jimenez's third child is called Pauline, after Paul Walker.

In the candid interview, Diesel also recollected the time when his mother told him that Walker had a fatal car accident in November 2013. The actor was busy filming for the seventh film in the franchise. The “Fast & Furious 7” paid tribute to Walker. However, Diesel said that there will be three more films for fans to look forward to.

He told Ross that he had planned to take a year off and mourn the death of his best friend, but unfortunately he had to get to work with the filming of “The Last Witch Hunter.” In his latest flick, Diesel is seen alongside British actor Michael Caine. Check out the episode video below.
