Paul Walker’s Daughter Meadow Meets His Co-stars, Vin Diesel Pays Touching Tribute to His Friend At MTV Movie Awards 2015
Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow posted a picture on Instagram of herself having a good time with a few of her dad’s co-stars from “Fast and Furious 7”. The candid picture showed the 16-year-old smiling with one of Paul’s best friends Vin Diesel. It also has Elsa Pataky in the frame who along with Vin flashed peace signs and her girl pal, according to ET Online.
The photograph which doesn’t have a caption shows how the teenager bonds with her dad’s professional family. It shows Meadow all smiles and cuddling up to Elsa on a couch. Paul died in a car accident in September 2013 over the Thanksgiving weekend. The teen remembered her dad on his first death anniversary and even on his 41st birthday in 2014 by posting photos to Instagram of Walker and her as a baby.
Meanwhile, Diesel also has shared sweet words for his dear friend after his tragic death many times. For Diesel Paul was an angel played an important role into his transition to fatherhood. He remembered how Paul was a part and parcel of his life and used to have long personal chats with his mom or babysit his daughter as he took great pride in being uncle Pablo. Diesel went down memory lane and reminisced the day when his daughter was born and both of them were shooting for FF4 and since he was the only one aware of the news about his daughter’s birth, Paul encouraged his friend to go and cut the umbilicle cord. The 47-year-old actor wrote in the Facebook photo caption.
“He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood...that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life...A year ago today...a year of mourning...and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo,” Vin wrote remembering the legendary actor on his first death anniversary last year. He also shared a photo of Paul bonding with his firstborn daughter, Hania Riley.
Tyrese Gibson, Paul’s co-star is Furious 7 recently said in an interview with People that Meadow was in a great space and focused on her education, besides spending quality time with her friends that gave her immense joy. Meanwhile, Diesel was at the MTV Movie Awards 2015 held in April 12 where he handed the Best Female Performance award to Shailene Woodley for “The Fault In Our Stars”. He also paid tribute to his fallen friend by giving an impromptu rendition of “See you Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth for “FF7”.
