The roster of “WWE Immortals” has expanded for the first time ever, as the latest “WWE Immortals” update brings “The Viper” Randy Orton into the fray. This should entice fans of the third generation superstar who are currently waiting for his return to WWE television as the biggest event of the WWE, “Wrestlemania,” approaches.

Like a good number of characters in the “WWE Immortals” roster, Orton will have two versions of himself in the game. A bronze version of the character will be available for 11,000 in-game coins, though fans could possibly get him through the bronze booster pack for 8,000 coins if they’re lucky. This version of Randy Orton was first teased through a development video with NetherRealms, which was shown in the App Store Facebook page. The bronze Randy Orton takes the wrestler’s “Viper” gimmick to the extreme, making him some sort of human snake amalgam.

A gold version of the character is also available, but only through the newly added “WWE Immortals” starter pack bundle, which was revealed and detailed by Touch Arcade. The pack that costs $9.99 includes the golden version of the character dubbed as the “Evolved” Randy Orton, a silver “Stone Watcher” version of The Rock, 20 Stamina refills and 30,000 in-game coins. This version of the character appears to be inspired by Batman villain Bane due to the enhancements seen in the character’s arms that appear to empower him, minus the luchador mask.

Fans of the game will also be happy to know that the next challenge for the game has been unveiled, which has a new golden “Evolved” version of WWE superstar Daniel Bryan as the grand prize. The challenge should be available sometime today.

This appears to be the start of the roster expanding. Fans of the product that viewed the video in the App Store Facebook page will recognise one of the moves being recorded for the game as the signature move of “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose. Similar to NetherRealm’s other fighting game, “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” it appears that more superstars from the WWE are expected to hit the mobile fighter sooner rather than later.
