The Minogue sisters are set to dominate Australia’s singing competition shows from different channels. As Dannii Minogue is expected to return to coach and judge contestants on Channel Seven’s “The X Factor,” her older sister Kylie Minogue will be taking on “The Voice” for Channel Nine.

“The Voice” has announced changes in its stars line-up. Kylie and Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am will be joining the judging panel for the third season of the show. They will be joining returning judges Ricky Martin and Joel Madden, and replacing Seal and Delta Goodrem, who were both with the talent program since its launch in 2012.

Will.i.am and Kylie are not new to doing reality shows about discovering new talents. In fact, they are also coaches on “The Voice UK.” The American rapper/producer has been with the show since 2011, and the Australian pop princess will be joining him and Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson for the upcoming third season.

“It is an honour to join The Voice Australia as a coach, working alongside Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden. Australia is a highly creative country anda place with many good memories that have shaped my music career,” will.i.am said in a statement.

Kylie also had a taste of judging talents when she helped Dannii pick her top three acts for the recently concluded “The X Factor.”

But that’s a one-off, and with Kylie’s inclusion in the Nine Network show, it doesn’t look like the Australian public will be seeing the Minogue sisters joining forces any time soon again.

“The Voice” will begin its blind auditions in January and is expected to commence on air in April, which is perhaps a good thing since “The X Factor” will likely kick off its sixth season in July or August. That way, fans of both Minogue sisters won’t have to choose which show they have to watch.

As for the exiting “The Voice” coaches, Seal has announced his exit, claiming he wants to take a break from the show to focus on his kids and on his new album, while Delta has signed up to become a coach on “The Voice Kids.”

She posted her letter on Twitter on Tuesday:

“The Voice has always understood that we are artists first & foremost. I’m excited to share, that in finding a way to balance my time with my music career whilst continuing to be a part of The Voice family, I’ll be taking a season off but have chosen to be a coach on the 2014 debut of The Voice Kids,” Delta explained.

Joining Delta in “The Voice Kids” is Joel, who appears to have no schedule problem with being in both the program’s adult and children versions.
