‘The Voice’ coach Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Dwyane Wade join Taylor Swift onstage
Before going to Australia in November for a Nova Red Room event, “Bad Blood” singer Taylor Swift, 25, was in Miami, Florida, for her “1989 World Tour.” She was joined on stage by “The Voice: Australia” coach Ricky Martin, 43, “I Know You Want Me” singer Pitbull, 34, and NBA player Dwyane Wade, 33.
On Oct. 27, Tuesday, Swift and Martin performed “Livin’ La Vida Loca” with a full Latin band during the “1989 World Tour” concert at the American Airlines Arena. Before their performance, the “Bad Blood” singer said the Puerto Rican singer is inspiring and he has paved the way for many Latin artists.
Released on March 23, 1999, “Livin’ La Vida Loca” was from Martin’s self-titled debut English album. The Latin singer performed it with his fellow “The Voice Australia” judges Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Seal in 2013.
After performing “Livin’ La Vida Loca” with Martin, Swift welcomed Pitbull as his second surprise guest. The rapper--born in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents, performed “Give Me Everything,” which is the second single from his 2011 album “Planet Pit.”
Wade then appeared as Swift’s third surprise guest. The Miami Heat shooting guard presented the “Bad Blood” singer with a number 13 jersey, according to Just Jared.
While Swift released her “1989” album on Oct. 27, 2014, both Martin and Pitbull previously released an album with a Spanish title through Sony Music Latin. On July 27, Pitbull released his ninth studio album titled “Dale,” which means, “Let’s Go.”
On the other hand, Martin released his 10th studio album as a solo artist on Feb 10. The album is titled “A Quien Quiera Escuchar,” which means “To Those Who Want To Listen.”
“A Quien Quiera Escuchar” was released four years after the release of Martin’s ninth studio album. While in hiatus, the Latin singer appeared in several TV shows.
In 2014, Martin appeared as a guest judge in “Dancing with the Stars.” He also served as a coach in “The Voice Australia” from its second to its fourth season.
