Season finale of “The Walking Dead” aired on AMC on March 29, 2015 and it saw Morgan coming back. Check out the recap of “The Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 16, “Conquer.”

The episode begins with Morgan sleeping in a car. He looks at the lucky rabbit’s foot that is hanging. Later, he cooks food for himself and a man carrying a gun emerges. A ‘W’ sign is on his head. He explains the reason behind the painted ‘W’. The man wants whatever Morgan has. He wants it all. Moreover, he wants to take Morgan with him.

Morgan tells him that he can have everything but leave him alone. During this time, the man’s accomplice jumps out of the trees and attacks Morgan with a machete. He dodges the swing and uses his staff to knock them down. He puts them in his car and honks the horn.

Meanwhile, Rick wakes up and finds Michonne. She wants to know why he didn’t tell him about his plans. Rick knows that Michonne likes the idea of Alexandria. Carol, Abraham and Glenn enter. Michonne wants to know how he managed to get the gun. Carol tells Abraham and Michonne that Rick was alone and had just one gun.

Carol is crafting a plan if things don’t go the way they should. She tells Michonne that if Rick whistles, the survivors will take the people of the community at knife-point. They will threaten to kill them if they don’t let them have the armoury.

Elsewhere, Maggie is trying to talk it out with Deanna and Reg. She supports Rick, but Deanna wants to have the meeting and come up with a decision regarding Rick. Reg tries to talk to Maggie after she leaves.

In “The Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 16, Sasha is seen putting the walkers in a grave. Daryl Dixon and Aaron are on a mission. Aaron tells him about a man called Davidson who led two men and women. After things turned bad they took them someplace far and seized their weapons. Later, they see a person in a red poncho and start to follow him

Rick and Carol are alone and Carol gives him a gun. He says that Michonne did the right thing by knocking him out. Elsewhere, Glenn comes to know about the meeting from Maggie. Then she leaves to talk to other people of the community.

Glenn sees Nicholas climb the wall and jump the other side. As Glenn runs after him, the scene cuts to Father Gabriel going out. He says he doesn’t need any weapon as he going for a walk.

Elsewhere, Rick talks to Carl and tells him that he is not going to the meeting. Carl tells his father that it is difficult for them to survive without team Rick’s help. Rick tells him about the hostage plan, but Carl thinks that violence is not needed.

Daryl and Aaron have lost the man, but they find a huge warehouse of food. Daryl thinks that they must look for the guy as they need more people. However, Aaron believes that they need food to feed the growing number of people. Later, Aaron again sees the guy in a red poncho. As they open the back of a truck, it triggers a trap and all the doors of other trucks open up. Daryl goes on a stabbing spree as walkers in large numbers emerge. Somehow, they manage to get into a car. There is a note in it – “Trap. Bad people coming. Don’t stay.”

“The Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 6 also witnesses Carol threatening to kill Pete with a knife. She makes it clear to him that she can kill him anytime.

Jessie and Rick meet and talk. She tells him that he was right. All this is being watched by Pete.

Daryl and Aaron are stuck in the car. He tells Aaron that he will draw the attention of the walkers while he can run away. Aaron rejects the offer and wants to stay and fight with his friend. Morgan comes and they manage to reach a safe place.

In the episode, Abraham and Eugene finally talk to each other. Eugene reveals if Tara would not have been there he would be dead by now. He apologises to Abraham and he does the same.

Nicholas and Glenn fight and a walker comes. While Nicholas moves away, the walker lands right on Glenn. Meanwhile, Gabriel goes back to the church and sees Sasha. She tells him that she wants to die. However, he embarrasses her and tells her that she is responsible for Bob’s death. Sasha loses it and screams at him to stop.

The meeting starts, but Rick is not there and Deanna says that it must start. Carol, Michonne and Abraham talk during the meeting. Meanwhile, Glenn hits Nicholas in the forest.

Two men have the guy in a red poncho. One of them slits his throat. Later, they restart the trap using a remote. Meanwhile, Rick comes with the walker and throws the body in the meeting. He tells them that if they are not vigilant, the dead will come.

Pete storms in the meeting with Michonne’s katana. Reg tries to stop him, but Pete accidently slits his throat. Abraham pins down Pete. He is dying and Rick looks at Deanna. She tells him to “do it.”

Rick aims at Pete and fires the weapon. The next shot shows Morgan staring at Rick.
