“The Walking Dead” Season 6 spoilers: AMC has no plans to end series, Valentine’s Day 2016 surprise
[Spoiler Alert] AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 6, second part is set to return in the US on Feb. 14 and it’s expected to be way more exciting with many more deaths and bloodshed. “24” actor Xander Berkeley will be playing the cowardly leader of the Hilltop Colony, Gregory, and he is going to make the lives of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) a living hell. Gregory will betray the series’ beloved characters to the villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and will play a critical role in leading Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) to his death.
As the show is set to return on Valentine’s Day 2016 and creator of “The Walking Dead” comic series Robert Kirkman has promised many people will die, it is being called the “Valentine’s Day Massacre.” The show closely follows the comic books.
“Some of the scariest people in the back half of the season are our people. These characters are at their strongest right now, but the problem is, the threats of the world are also at their strongest. We’ll see these immovable objects meet,” says executive producer Scott Gimple, writes CinemaBlend.
Moreover, AMC is not yet planning to end the series, reports MNR Daily. AMC Network Chief Charlie Collier and Programming President Joe Stillerman believe that “The Walking Dead” TV series follows Kirkman’s comics. Therefore, the series will go on as long as Kirkman keeps writing. Of course, the production costs must be kept in mind.
According to a recent report by one of the show's fan sites, The Spoiling Dead Fans, there is a scene with a couple of unknown characters including Carol (Melissa McBride) and Morgan (Lennie James). One of the male unknown characters is pointing a gun towards someone’s direction. Although it is not known whether he pulled the trigger or not, Morgan, in another scene is talking to the man with the gun and also bending over. Somebody must be lying on the ground.
According to “The Walking Dead” fan site, Carol does make an appearance at some point in the scene, all roughed up and bruised. Carol might be the one on the ground.
