Imagine a lot of Daryl Dixons going the wrong way or the brutal way. According to Norman Reedus, The Wolves are the same. “The Walking Dead” Season 5 ended hinting that The Wolves are near and they are dangerous and smart.

Norman Reedus talked to The Hollywood Reporter about “The Walking Dead” Season 6 and The Wolves. Season 5, episode 16, “Conquer” showcased some of the members of The Wolves. They can be easily identified with that ‘W’ painted on their heads.

When asked about how different The Wolves are compared to The Governor or Gareth (Terminus), Reedus said that The Wolves are people gone evil.

“These guys are roamers, and they seem like a whole bunch of Daryls gone south, who have gone really bad and turned into wolves. They're probably on the move; I don't think they're afraid to butcher people right out in the open,” Reedus said.

The actor said that people like Gareth at Terminus would invite people inside their zone and when they are in, they would perform the bad tasks they are known for. Evil things happened inside the Terminus, but Reedus said that they were “more cowardly.”

In “The Walking Dead” Season 5, episode 6, Daryl, Aaron and Morgan faced the wrath of The Wolves. They are aware of the capabilities of this new enemy.

Morgan had to fight them in the opening sequence of “Conquer.” Two members of The Wolves attacked Morgan, but due to his presence of mind and combat skills, he was able to knock them down with his staff. Meanwhile, Daryl Dixon and Aaron got stuck in a trap that was laid out by The Wolves.

Norman Reedus was asked about the biggest threat for Rick Grimes’ group in “The Walking Dead” Season 6. He said that what the showrunner Scott M. Gimple has planned for the new season is “going to be epic.”
