Will The Wanted English-Irish boy band dismantle not for Nathan Sykes vocal problems but for its ladies’ man, Max George, and his big acting ambitions? With no further details from the 24-year-old band member, Max George revealed getting a phone call for the role he auditioned for, as featured in one of the latest episodes before the show’s finale on E!

And reports have it that he is willing to leave the band to pursue his acting career, especially when he is offered millions for the first role that comes knocking on his doors.

'If they offer me millions of pounds, I'd say, 'See ya later, boys,” George was quoted as telling the British tabloid, The Daily Star, according to Entertainmentwise.com.

In a separate report by IBTimes-AU on July 3, Max was noted as revealing going for auditions even before he joined the band.

"Years ago I used to do auditions for parts but then I joined the band and it all disappeared,” Max was quoted as telling Key 103 in another interview.

Max wants to seize opportunities in Hollywood while The Wanted group band is in Tinseltown for its reality TV Show, “The Wanted Life.” But now that the show had aired its season finale on July 16, it looks like Max has never changed his mind about his acting career.

He asserted, "[But] now that I'm in Hollywood [with the group] it's the perfect opportunity. I'm very serious about it and I'm having auditions again."

And it looks like his hard work has paid off.Known as the “party-animal” among the group, Max said that he was a bit taken by surprise when he got a call for the role he auditioned for. But it was clear he is excited about the project.

"I thought it was a joke at first. But I know it's probably going to take me out of the band for a little bit,” Max said in the interview.
