She was slurring and stumbling. Porn legend Jenna Jameson missed what could have been a comeback 15-minutes-of- fame when she appeared groggy on live TV book segment during a promotional tour of her first novel, prompting host to wrap up the interview earlier than scheduled.

The former porn star, who saw the prime of her career in the 1990s, appeared on “Good Day New York,” to promote her first romance novel, “Sugar,” was described by TMZ as “out of it.” TMZ is the first to report the incident early today.

As the segment began and the camera was zooming in, things appeared just like one of those interviews with a star. The 38-year old legendary porn star still carried herself pretty well even after leaving the industry years ago. She managed to look great and sexy with a black and white striped, off-shoulder top and tight, black pants.

All seemed all set. The GDNY hosts, Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto had all their cards of questions for Jenny. Things went as usual as they were introducing “The Queen of Porn Star” and giving a brief introduction of her first book and the reason why she’s on the show.

Things still went fine when she responded to Greg Kelly’s first question, asking how she is. Looking demure and seductive as she moved her body, Jenna said, “I’m great, thanks for having me.”

But after the polite introductions and standard welcome greetings, things began to have gone wrong when Kelly fired away and did his job. Jenna appeared loss of words and talked disturbingly slow when the male host asked her when she retired in the business.

Jenna responded, “About ten years ago.”

Greg then quipped, “But the body of works is still there. People are still watching them.”

In not too many words, Jenna responded with a coy, slow body movement, looking, again, seductive like she has usually done in her films.

Things had gone from worse to worst when Kelly’s co-host, Rosanna Scotto asked Jenna the prepared question of “what the book was all about,” noting if it was all the adult film star.

Jenna soon admitted that the book was about her journey but insisted that she spiced things up a little bit.

“Well, I mean I didn’t want it to be exact of what I’ve always done so I kind of made up some parts to give …. yummy story,” adding she didn’t want her first romance novel to be like the other books she has read.

“I read all those other stories,” she began and concluded what she wanted to say next by making face to describe what she wanted to point out.

Then more questions came up from the two TV hosts as seen on YouTube video posted by StrangeNewsTV.

They talked about how she got into the adult film business and whether or not she was forced into it like we see in movies. She was also pressed about any experience of abuse when she began at 19. The interview would not have been complete if Jenny’s longtime ex, Tito Ortiz was not discussed and the hosts fired away on the issue as well, knowing the social media banter the two have been having in recent months.

When Jenna responded, “Things are doing well, things are okay, things are well,” Kelly knew he had to cut short the interview. With all just one thought, repeatedly said and in such a slow talk, with her head down and hands clasped while at it, Kelly knew there was no need for Jenna to stay for the next segment.

TMZ revealed in exclusive details that Jenna was supposed to stay for two short segments - - first, discussing Jenny’s work (now and then) and second, plans to promote it and convince the readers to watch it, like book signing.

But watching Jenna must have been too painful for Kelly that he wrapped up the interview earlier than scheduled.
