Katy Perry's Bieber-like documentary movie finally releases an official trailer. 'Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D' is set to hit the big screen this summer as it follows the road taken by other artists who came up with their own movies like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.

The trailer started airing on television last April 2 after the recent announcement of its premiere which is eyed to be on the weekend of the 4th of July. Katy Perry shared with 'E! News' that anyone can be a 'firework,' or be inspired to be one once they catch the movie.

It is one special treat for all of her fans as it features all of Perry's ups and downs and the challenges she had to overcome to reach her stardom status at the moment. The promotional trailer mentions that the singer was raised as "100% Christian," and also featured her recent divorce with Russell Brand, for which Katy has not been so keen in talking about since it happened.

According to Katy, the movie allows everyone to have a peek at how the 'Teenage Dream' album came to be and at the same time serve as its closure as she welcomes brand new singles in a brand new album. It is like listening to Katy as if she is your best gal pal.

As for its 3D effects, the pop star assures that it will not appear cheap as many assumes. She admits that she worked on the movie for quite a long time and that it would bring a lot of fun and colours to the big screen.
