With all the buzz that Katy Perry is making, the "Teenage Dream" singer-songwriter may be headed to conquer the big screen - and yes, in 3D!

News has been spreading that Paramount is already in the talks with Perry's reps along with Imagine Entertainment to come up with a 3D film set in a documentary style.

While there is still no confirmation yet about this update, there have been reports that both sides are more than eager to make this project work.

Other sources say Paramount is planning to implement the same production and concept strategy they used in the concert film "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never". It was released Feb. 11, 2011 and reaped a box office of $73 million. The highest-grossing concert film remains Michael Jackson's "This Is It," which earned $261.2 million after his death in 2009.

Other similar projects were Disney's "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour'" with a gross of $65 million in 2008, and "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience."

Fox's "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" did not do as well, reaching just $11.8 million.

With this possible new project for Katy Perry, the odds are high that she will once again break records and put on a different twist to it. Besides, who would not want to see peacock feathers, alien lights, cotton candy clouds and cannon bras exploding whipped creams all in 3D?

Katy Perry in 3D will surely be fun!
