'White Collar' Season 5: Actor Matt Bomer Excited, Talks About Neal Caffrey's Deal to Protect Peter Burke [PHOTOS]
Actor Matt Bomer has expressed his excitement for the upcoming "White Collar" Season 5 in an interview with E!Online. Mr Bomer further talked about the relationship of his character, con man Neal Caffrey, with FBI Agent Peter Burke in the TV series' latest season.
"I am really excited about this season! It's all about this Faustian bargain, a deal that Neal makes with the devil in exchange for Peter's freedom and it just creates this interesting dynamic on the show because the show is all about trust," the 35-year-old "White Collar" star revealed.
In the previous Enstars report, actor Mark Sheppard will return as character Curtis Hagen from the pilot episode, the con man that FBI Agent Burke sent to prison. "Once again Neal always has the best intentions but it puts him in a very compromising position," Mr Bomer further shared about the bargain he was referring to.
In the finale of "White Collar" Season 4, co-star Tim DeKay's character, Peter Burke, was framed for murdering a senator. It appears that the FBI Agent will have a lot to deal with in the upcoming Season 5 from his trouble with the law to the problems in his marriage with Elizabeth.
Additionally, SpoilerTV recently revealed an episode title for the upcoming "White Collar" Season 5. Episode 9 will be given the title "No Good Deed" with the assumption that the storyline involves the bargain that Neal Caffrey makes with Curtis Hagen to protect FBI Agent Peter Burke.
"White Collar" Season 5 will premiere with episode title "The Boys Are Back" which means the return of Neal and Peter for more exciting adventures. The comedy-drama TV series' second episode is titled "My Man Caffrey" where the lead male character could be put in the spotlight once again.
The latest season will only have 13 episodes instead of 16 after USA Network decided to allow the series creator Jeff Eastin work on the other USA TV series "Graceland." White Collar Season 5 returns on the USA network starting October 17, Thursday, at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
