'White Collar' Season 5: Matt Bomer Talks About New Love Interest, Goodbye Sara Ellis? [PHOTOS]
It has been confirmed that actress Hilarie Burton will not be reprising her character Sara Ellis in "White Collar" Season 5. In the TVLine report, lead actor Matt Bomer teased the fans on what will happen to his character Neal Caffrey's love life when he talked about the arrival of a "new incredible girl."
"There is a really incredible girl who comes into Neal's life, played by the gorgeous and talented Bridget Regan. She is sort of atypical in terms of what Neal finds attractive in a woman - with the exception of the fact that she's a redhead. She's like an onion, and in every episode more peels off and Neal becomes more attracted to her," Matt Bomer shared.
Another interesting storyline for Neal Caffrey in "White Collar" Season 5 is how to get FBI Agent Peter Burke out of jail. The FBI Agent was arrested for a crime that he did not commit and it is up to Neal to prove the innocence of his handler and friend.
Recently, the "White Collar" star made a guest appearance at "Live With Kelly & Michael" to talk about his career and life with his three adorable children. Even though Matt Bomer's name got linked once more for the Christian Grey role after Charlie Hunnam backed out, the 36-year-old heartthrob actor did not mention anything about the "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting news.
What Mr Bomer revealed during the interview is the need to lose 32 pounds for his character in the upcoming film adaptation of Larry Kramer's Broadway play "The Normal Heart." The actor did not give the exact details on how he lost weight, but he divulged that his final meal during the diet comprised of a Cronut.
In the interview, fans were able to see as well the personal side of Matt Bomer as a devoted father to his children. The actor shared on their family's upcoming Halloween plans: "We get into it, you have to be serious in our neighborhood because everyone gets into it. The kids this year are gonna be, two are them are gonna be Ninja Turtles and one is gonna be a zombie football player."
Matt Bomer will return as con man Neal Caffrey in "White Collar" Season 5 when the brand new season premieres on Thursday, October 17, at 9/8c on the USA network.
