Angus T. Jones who plays, Jake Harper on Men is reportedly the one who gave the show’s creators and producers the idea to give Ashton Kutcher a shot for the job left vacated when Charlie Sheen was fired by his bosses in early March.
The Chicago Sun Times noted in a report that the 17-year-old star has been a Twitter and email friend of Ashton. The young star was reportedly very upset by the circumstances surrounding Charlie Sheen, who according to the Chicago Sun Times “had become like a surrogate dad for him”.
Aside from “Men”, Jones had also appeared in other films including See Spot Run, The Rookie, Bringing Down the House, George of the Jungle 2, and The Christmas Blessing.
Meanwhile, Sheen has finally resigned to the idea that there is definitely no place for him on “Two and a Half Men” as he gave Kutcher his blessings by congratulating the Valentine’s Day actor for landing the role he lucratively used to enjoy.
