Elizabeth Taylor is a big name in Hollywood and when plans are made to make a biopic about the legend, who'd be the lucky lady to bag the role? Would it be troubled star Lindsay Lohan, or sexy icon Megan Fox?

It is definitely a competition between the two, and by the looks of it, both of them aren't backing down. Though Lindsay Lohan may be the first choice of director Larry Thompson for the role of the movie, "Liz and Dick", there's still room to change his mind. With a few other sexy and sultry Hollywood celebrities that most likely fit Liz Taylor's persona, Megan Fox fits the category.

"I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox," says Larry Thompson in an interview with E! Online.

There may still be time for a third option if both Lindsay and Megan fail to decide. Lindsay, who has been busy with her community service and therapy sessions, might not be able to dedicate her whole time on set. While she may have been genuinely active in her therapy sessions and dedicated to completing her service, the troubled star's probation status is most likely still complicated.

Thompson refused to reveal details regarding his decision on who to cast as the famous Liz Taylor. Though Megan Fox & Lindsay Lohan are the best bets so far, they shouldn't be relaxed or relieved.

"It's a very serious selection," shared Thompson. "It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."

With that being said, the role may not be easily given to Lohan whose still on probation until March. Still, there are no comments from Megan Fox's representatives, but here's to hoping she makse the cut. If Fox does nab the role, it willl be another loss for Lohan who unfortunately lost the Linda Lovelace role to a blonde beauty, Amanda Seyfried.
