Why Miley Cyrus Wanted To Go Naked In ‘Wrecking Ball’ Video ? [Photos/Videos]
Just after her raunchy VMA performance, Miley launched the shocking new video which is criticised and compared to porn.
Fashion photographer Terry Richardson and the controversial singer collaboration resulted in Miley Cyrus' music video "Wrecking Ball." Miley strips completely nude and shows off her chest, bum and other body parts as well in her most courageous and audacious video yet. A source close to her explained why Cyrus did so.
Dividing fans and critics once again this time Miley wanted to do more than just the hype - she wanted to share her "vulnerable side" with the people around the world with this video. The song is the first off Cyrus and Britney Spears collaboration for upcoming album "Bangerz".
This isn't Miley's second time working with Terry Richardson famous (for overt, over-the-top photos and videos).
"Miley has shot with Terry a lot over the years so she's very comfortable with him and she trusts him." "She chose him to direct her video because he's all about pushing boundaries and making a statement, that's what Miley's into right now,"
"Miley loved the idea of going naked because it suits the song she's showing her naked emotions. It's her vulnerable side and it's not something she shows very often, so having nudity made sense." a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
The controversial soft porn video directed by Terry Richardson sees the 20-year-old singer moan about heartbreak while dangling her nude limbs around on top of a wrecking ball hanging by a chain.
Miley twerked, thrusted, and rubbed a giant foam hand on Robin Thicke's crotch... here's hoping Cyrus gets invited to the Oscars. There couldn't have been more sexual and proactive imagery unless she started to act out grabbing a sledgehammer and begin lashing her tongue around it.
"I came in like a wrecking ball," "All you ever did was wreck me." Miley sings. With the emotionally charged song Miley shed to tears, while singing Miley cries: "Don't you ever say I just walked away I will always love you."
It's not surprising Miley broke the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours with 12.3M beating from the top spot One Direction's video for Best Song Ever.
Miley Cyrus once again on the top of social media talks so we have compiled some of twitter reactions here:
