Will Ferrell’s most famous character Ron Burgundy has a message for Australia once again. The fictional news anchor, who was introduced by the U.S. comedian in the 2004 comedy “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” starred in the 44-second clip, telling Aussies to “stay classy” during the AFL Grand Final Day.

Ferrell, as Burgundy, sent out a message to Australians on the Australian Football League’s Grand Final Day, apologising that he couldn’t join in on the commentary because sportscaster Samantha Lane has filed a restraining order against him.

“I was asked to join the panel of the Saturday night footy news team for the Grand Final Day, but regretfully, the restraining order issued by Samantha Lane doesn’t allow me to travel through international waters.

“My darling Samantha, I shouldn’t have suggested you interview me in my Jacuzzi. That’s just the kind of man I man. Boy oh boy, wowee,” Burgundy continued.

“What a day for Australian sports fans, a day when the nation stops to watch men with tight shorts and low IQs chasing someone called ‘Sherrin.’

“I’m Ron Burgundy. You stay classy, Australia,” he concluded.

Paramount Pictures Australia uploaded the video on YouTube on Friday, the second clip starring Burgundy for 2013. On September 6, Burgundy also appeared in a clip, wishing Aussies good luck in the then upcoming election.

Ferrell is reprising his role as the ‘70s news presenter on the sequel to the blockbuster film. “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” will also bring back the film’s original cast, including Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Vince Vaughn, and Christina Applegate.

It will feature cameos from some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Nicole Kidman, Will Smith, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Jim Carrey, Liam Neeson, and Sacha Baron Cohen among many others.

Slated date of release is on December 20.
