Will Porn Star James Deen Portray Christian Grey in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movie? [PHOTOS]

The controversial "American Psycho" author Bret Easton Ellis claimed to have inside information on the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie adaptation.

Ellis reportedly said that porn star James Deen is currently in consideration for portraying the role of the manipulative billionaire, Christian Grey. Also, an unknown actress will portray the young and innocent lover of Christian Grey named Anastasia Steele.

In a series of messages through his "Twitter" account, Bret Easton Ellis also revealed that this proposed casting for the film has the approval of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James. "Just got inside information that James Deen is actually in the running to play Christian in "Fifty Shades of Grey" with E.L. James support," Ellis said.

Even though James Deen has not appeared yet on the big screen, he is currently filming "The Canyons" with Lindsay Lohan and the script was written by Bret Easton Ellis himself. James Deen is actually a well-known celebrity in the adult film industry. With his boy-next-door looks and his knack for making BDSM look and sound incredibly romantic, it appears that James Deen is the perfect man for the role of Christian Grey.

Meanwhile, another surprising claim has been made that the budget of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film will be below 15 million even though there is an enormous potential audience eagerly anticipating for the release of the movie. It looks like all of the money will be saved for the advertising campaign instead. Finally, Ellis also revealed that the movie script adaptation of the hit erotic novel will definitely be written by a woman.

However, E.L. James husband Niall Leonard recently revealed that the last he heard of was about the "Drive" actor Ryan Gosling being the top choice in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting which makes it quite contradicting and confusing to Bret Easton Ellis' statement.

Until everything has been sort out and finalized for this much talked about "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, fans just have to patiently wait for the official announcement and find out which actor and actress will bring Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele to life on the big-screen.
