Among the biggest excitement this coming January is the probable transfer of Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho from Arsenal. There were many speculations that Carvalho will be up to join the Premier League this coming January. In fact, there has already been a talk in the field about a 27 million euro bid from Arsenal this August, which has been corroborated by Carvalho's coach by saying that it would be just a matter of time before Carvalho leaves Arsenal. He also revealed that he has long been the target of English teams.

Sporting coach Marco Silva of Arsenal has talked before Sporting's Champions League clash with Chelsea releasing a statement that it would not be a surprise that many English teams will be vying for Carvalho to join their team considering the viability of Carvalho's January transfer. While the initial performance of Carvalho from last season caught his team, spectators, and coach Silva by surprise, coach Silva confidently stated that Carvalho's performance has greatly improved. To date, he's not anymore playing in the same level from last season.

However, Silva further stated that with this great opportunities come January's possible transfer of Carvalho. As such, the midfielder should learn how to play his game really well and Carvalho must be keen in choosing a team that will boost his field career further in the future as well.

As there have been many confirmations of numerous teams that are quite interested for Carvalho to become a part of their team, Manchester United has yet to get a good grip on him. News has it that Manchester United's manager Louis van Gaal is eyeing Carvalho closely.

As to which team Carvalho will choose, that's choice is something to look forward to come January. Considering the number of players whose contracts are ending and are viable for January transfers, Carvalho's possible transfer would be one of New Year's highlights. William Carvalho, one of the biggest superstars in the football arena is yet to play against Chelsea at the Champions League.
