The auditions for “The X Factor USA” 2013 has been concluded and with the four chair challenge coming in to play, the top 16 finalists have been chosen to perform live in the coming weeks.

The top 16 finalists are under the four categories introduced on the show this season - - boys, girls, over 25, and group. We now know that the boys will be mentored by Paulina Rubio; girls by Demi Lovato; over 25s by Kelly Rowland; and group by Simon Cowell.

Boys - Paulina Rubio, mentor
Carlos Guevara: 16, Lexington, SC, student
Tim Olstad: 23, Winona, MN , restaurant server
Carlito Olivero: 24, Valley Village, CA coffee shop attendant,
Josh Levi: 14, West Hollywood, CA, student

Girls – Demi Lovato, mentor
Danielle Geimer: 15, Northridge, CA, student.
Khaya Cohen: 15, New York, NY, student.
Rion Paige: 13, St. Johns, FL, student, and the youngest "X Factor" USA contestant in Season 3. Demi loves her and she could not let her go, Rascal Flatts’ “I Won’t Let Go.”
Ellona Santiago: 16, San Lorenzo, CA, student and a Filipino-American.

Over 25 – Kelly Rowland, mentor
James Kenney: 35, West Hollywood, CA, an apartment manager.
Jeff Gutt: 37, Clinton Township, MI., musician, and single dad
Rachel Potter: 29, Nashville, TN . a bartender.
Lillie McCloud: 54, Orlando, FL . the oldest "X Factor" contestant this season.

Group- Simon Cowell, mentor
Alex & Sierra - Alex is 21 from Daytona Beach, FL and Sierra is 22 from Orlando, FL. The lovers made a perfect pair with their rendition of “You’re The One That I Want,” a soundtrack from 70s movie, “Grease.”
Restless Road - Country group formed on "X Factor" with members Zach Beeken 17, Colton Pack 18 and Andrew Scholz, 18. Simon Cowell formed the group, like he did with One Direction. Cowell was too impressed and he said that the group could be the next “country man band.” Performing “Somebody Like You,” they wowed the audience and gave them a standing ovation. Paulina Rubio said, “I completely love you three.”
Sweet Suspense – a pop group formed on "X Factor." Members: Summer Reign 17, Millie Thrasher 14 and Celine Polenghi 16.
RoXxy Montana – a group from Detroit, Michigan. Members: Tenija 22, Tiara 21, and Temperance 20.

Of the top 16 finalists chosen this season, some of the top favorites include Josh Levi, real-life lovers, Alex and Sierra, Rion Page, Wild Thingz and Restless Road.

"X Factor" airs on Fox Television, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. (EST).
