Quicksilver’s kitchen scene in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” was said to be the highlight of the movie. But whether “X-Men: Apocalypse” can top that sequence is yet to be seen. However, Evan Peters, who plays the speedster, somehow teased another exciting Quicksilver sequence happening in the sequel in a recent interview.

Peters teased of a more exciting and bigger Quicksilver slow-motion sequence in “X-Men: Apocalypse” during an exclusive phone interview with Collider. The actor didn’t exactly say that his character’s scene would once again be the highlight in the sequel. But he assured that Quicksilver will be once again doing another “amazing sequence.”

“It’s bigger, longer and more detailed. Knock on wood, I think it’s going to be a fun and enjoyable sequence for people to watch, with Quicksilver running around and doing his thing in slow-mo time,” he said.

Peters likewise told Collider during his interview that Quicksilver’s sequence in “X-Men: Apocalypse” took many days to be completed. They reportedly “shot for 22 days of second unit” just to make the scene really “really pop and really work.”

This is not the first time Peters had expressed his excitement about his character’s scene in the sequel. In a previous interview the actor also revealed that Quicksilver’s sequence in “X-Men: Apocalypse” will be “bigger and better.” Peters said some new elements were added to the scene to make it look more fun and exciting. However, he also admitted his doubts that it would top that hilarious kitchen sequence in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Back in June, movie director Bryan Singer shared a photo taken from the set of “X-Men: Apocalypse” on his Instagram page. The picture shows a group of young people suspended in the air by the cable wires attached to their clothes.

Singer teased the scene being filmed involves Quicksilver, given the captions he wrote on the picture. He included the hash tags #Quicksilver, #Xmen and #XmenApocalypse” and also wrote “Just another day at the office.” Commentators were also quick to point out that the photo looked like it was taken from Quicksilver’s sequence in “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
