Microsoft promises new technologies, hardware and gaming on their upcoming Xbox 720. Expectations continue to goes up as the unveiling of the new gaming console draws near and begins a new generation of gaming, TV and entertainment.

Xbox spokesman Major Nelson promises the release which will mark as the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment.

New Gaming of Xbox 720

Project Gotham Racing 5, Forza Motorsports 5, Halo 5 and Fable 4 are rumoured to be launched on Xbox 720. Call of Duty Ghosts is one of the most anticipated revelations to happen on the Xbox 720 launch event with other game titles to included as well.

Square Enix is also closely watched for the upcoming Final Fantasy franchise, the Versus 13 and still having some development delays while Visceral Games appears to work on an unannounced next generation shooter for Xbox 720.

Jehan Choo who worked as a senior concept artists on the upcoming game from Visceral earlier this year claims to have been a part on "pre-vis environments, mood pieces and texture work for Xbox 720 title.

Rumours suggest that EA is working on Star Wars games powered by the Frostbite 3 game engine and to make debut as the technology behind DICE'S Battlefield 4. No confirmation yet has been released by Visceral Games.

Xbox 720 Features

Aside from Kinect 2.0 and IlumiRoom projector which are going to be available separately for Xbox 720, entertainment is another fact the game console focuses on.

Analysts agree that Xbox 720 will have 1.6GHz eight-core AMD processors, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 32MB supplementary 'ESRAM', specialising RAM connection directly to the graphics unit.

Blu-Ray disc drive, USB 3.0 connection port, and 500GB hard drive are all standard given to the Xbox 720. But to give entertainment a better experience using the console, direct line-in for TV signals will allow Xbox Live to overlay functionality during normal TV viewing. Partnerships between major TV and movie sources are expected which will then feature recording or store TV programs.

Another part of the entertainment aspect revolves to adult owners.
