Xbox One Confirmed Game Titles: Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed 4, 15 Microsoft Exclusives & More
Watch Dogs and Call of Duty: Ghosts have been spearheading the announced games for the new Xbox One. However, that's not all the titles that Microsoft has up its sleeve for its next generation console, as it announces 15 exclusive titles alongside AAA games finally confirmed.
Battlefield 4
After so many rumors and rumored-then-cancelled talks about Battlefield 4 going on the next generation consoles, Microsoft's recently announced next-gen Xbox One up its ante once again as Battlefield 4 is officially to come on board.
EuroGamer reports that Battlefield 4 is now coming to the two current-gen consoles, the PC, PlayStation 4, and now the Xbox One.
Publisher Electronic Arts has also announced that pre-orders for the Battlefield 4 will give players access to the China Rising Digital Expansion Pack for free. Past reports for the Digital Deluxe version preorder entitles gamers to bonus in-game items, the multiplayer beta access, base game, and the additional China Rising Pack.
Thief
The awaited title and comeback of the series is Square Enix's Thief, which will also be officially coming to the Xbox One.
The company's official statement by Stephane D'Astous, general manager of developer Eidos-Montreal, quoted by MTV goes, "The team at Eidos-Montreal is thrilled to confirm that THIEF is coming to Xbox One. The next generation of home consoles allows us to create the best and the most immersive THIEF game ever. We can't wait to how more of THIEF at E3 this year."
It's another shared title with the PlayStation 4, but die-hard fans of the Xbox have another reason to go for its next-gen console.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag
Another title that has been confirmed for the Xbox One is Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Again, it's another title that's already been confirmed for the PS4, according to IGN, so it won't be part of the exclusive titles-count for the console.
15 exclusive titles all in all
As if those AAA games weren't enough, GameSpot reports that those who will buy the Xbox One console can expect 15 exclusive titles to hit the console on its first year--presumably 2014--with eight of the titles being brand new IPs.
Expect these tittles to be showcased at E3 2013, which Microsoft has already announced to be the event where they will be showcasing most of the games to come out on the Xbox One.
