FIFA 14 is a go for the Xbox May 21 event
There's more to expect for Microsoft's next-gen Xbox 720 or Infinity May 21 event. With Call of Duty: Ghosts already confirming its attendance and the big reveal of Microsoft's next-gen console in tow, it seems that there's another game up for fans to enjoy.
Electronic Arts has recently announced that it will feature the FIFA 14, starting 10 a.m. PDT, reports Digital Spy.
Aside from showcasing the game, speculations have already been at work, citing that the talked about partnership between EA and Microsoft will also be revealed at the event. This partnership may be possible after all, as looking back at Sony's own even last February, EA was a no-show.
FIFA 14 has already been slated for release on the current-gen platforms, PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, but it has yet to confirm any releases for the next-gen console.
Battlefield 4 news at Xbox event?
There are a lot of talks about Battlefield 4 ever since teasers, trailers, and screenshots have been released. What is sure about the game is that it is only coming out for the current-gen consoles Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC.
However, GameSpot has spotted a tidbit of info on the official Battlefield 4 Twitter account, which announces, "Big announcements are coming soon!"
Some fans may still be hoping that Battlefield will hit next-gen consoles, considering that this bit of news falls in sync on the eve of Microsoft's Xbox event. While this may conflict the more recent news about Battlefield 4 skipping next-gen consoles, appearance on the next-gen platform would certainly be big news for the game.
