Xbox One Gets New Indies At GDC 2015, More Titles Appear Alongside Weekly Deals With Gold
With GDC 2015 in full swing, Microsoft wasted no time whipping out the big guns of games. A year after it had introduced first wave of games from the ID@Xbox program, the company is now ready to provide more titles to Xbox One patrons.
Announced via the Xbox Wire, Microsoft has confirmed 30 titles coming from the indie game program. This shows a huge improvement from the way the ID@Xbox was first received by independent game developers, given the previous restrictions. According to the company, there are over 1,000 studios who have expressed interest and are already developing games with ID@Xbox dev kits.
